To be clear, this isn't happening in the live version of TBC Classic Gold the game but on its own public test servers. It is here that Blizzard evaluations upcoming changes to the game, like the coming level cap squish (max level players will now only be level 50, with the new level cap being 60 if Shadowlands releases) along with the overhauled new player experience. Butsometime later this fall, this event will launch on live servers--and if it's anything like what is happening today, it'll be a bloodbath.
I am not exactly certain when the event is functioning as planned. Right now, Stormwind is absolutely overrun with ghouls which are rampaging through the streets and virtually everything that goes. The auction house, sellers, and even the lender are all unusable--that may be frustrating for gamers who, once the event is truly reside, are only trying to go about their day to day business.
On the WoW subreddit, players have also found ways to bring the zombie infestation out of capital cities, making whole areas of Azeroth uninhabitable. It is amusing to realize how much the mirrors a true zombie plague, as slain players and NPCs equally change into ghouls so their numbers are constantly growing.
Fortunately, WoW game developer Jeremy Feasel confirmed the zombie invasion part of the event is only going to be active for a few hours through the day rather than all the time. I am actually a bit disappointed with that, frankly, because I believe it'd be fun to see yet another all-out, 24/7 invasion that gamers need to try and contain--something similar to World of Warcraft's notorious Corrupted Blood incident.
Players may also venture to the arctic wastes of Northrend to battle bosses and make strong loot, and there's also a new story quest to try out.
Otherwise, you can wait till the event necessarily launches sometime in the forthcoming months. But now that it is about the PTR, it'll likely be occurring sooner rather than later
Since publishing our initial story, YouTuber and Reddit consumer'KokushiGG' has posted a new video displaying Ray Traced Shadows from the new zones in the growth. You'll discover down the video below. Like yesterday's screenshots, we may see the gap in Shadows is quite minimal with the newest feature enabled. Allowing Ray Traced Shadows, however, will seem to greatly impact operation with FPS dropping from buy WOW Classic Burning Crusade Gold 120FPS into 60FPS in some instances.
